About Me:

Education & Training

Ananya Mujoo is the founder of Happy Hearts, an organization she started to support senior citizens through companionship, advocacy, and empowerment. Her passion for working with elders comes from her own family’s story. Her grandparents were displaced from their home in Kashmir, and hearing their experiences inspired her to help others feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that interactions between seniors and teens not only give seniors a sense of belonging, but also pass on valuable knowledge and wisdom to the teens.
Ananya is deeply interested in science and engineering. As captain of her FTC robotics team, she dives into robot design, coding, and community outreach. She’s hands-on with CAD/CAM and uses CNC metal machining to build custom parts for her team’s robot, and occasionally for her own creative projects. She even designed a device to help seniors with physical therapy, combining her technical skills with her commitment to elder care. She mentors other teams and runs summer camps or tutoring sessions where she teaches middle schoolers various subjects, including math, astronomy, and robotics.

Ananya is a passionate gymnast who has been competing at the Gold level. She de-stresses by playing piano and creating art through sketches and paintings.

Irrespective of her many talents, Ananya believes that humans are inherently social beings. By bringing together diverse people mindfully, she feels we can create joy and happiness in all hearts.
