About Me:
The story of Happy Hearts Organization begins with a simple, universal feeling: the longing for connection. For our founder and CEO, Ojas, the distance between his home in the US and his grandparents was more than just 8,000 miles. It was an emotional gap he sought to bridge. He cherished his grandparents’ visits, filling them with joy, bonding, and creative ways to spend time with them.
Realizing how much he respected and valued his seniors, he wished to spread the positive connections across generations. From this thought, he worked with other adults to create the Happy Hearts Organization. Ojas really went in depth with the idea, considering how seniors are often lonely and navigate challenges by themselves in this modern era. They would really appreciate someone to help guide them; help take pictures with new phones, cross the street, etc. As the world keeps evolving, everyone will benefit; kids, adults, and seniors as well.
Our elders face so many problems just existing, healthcare, mobility, transportation, chronic conditions, loneliness, isolation, etc. Our non-profit hopes to lighten part of the burden seniors carry, make them happier and help them feel more safe. This is very important as when people are more connected, they are more willing to ask for help that they need. If seniors are more connected and willing to interact with younger people, this helps a lot with much of the existing problems elderly people face.
Happy Hearts Organization hopes to support the older generations as we move on to the future. Our seniors need the most help they can get to live their lives to the fullest. Our elders deserve respect, care, and the guidance we can all provide.
